Debbie Carty

Past President at Leinster Rugby

Debbie Carty has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. In 1999, they started their career at H. Levingston Ltd. as an Accounts Clerk. Concurrently, they also joined Levingstons Electrical & Refrigeration as a Service Operations Manager. In 2010, Debbie became the Secretary for Leinster Womens Rugby, a position they held until 2014. Debbie also served as the Chairperson for Leinster Womens Rugby from 2011 to 2012. During this time, in 2011, they also became involved with Wexford Wanderers Rfc, serving as their President until 2014. Since 2015, Debbie has been actively involved with Leinster Rugby, taking on roles such as Leinster Southeast PRO and Past President. Debbie also served as the President from 2022 to 2023.

Debbie Carty attended Waterford Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In addition, they obtained certification as a Health and Safety Officer (HSO) from the Health Service Executive in 2020. Debbie also holds certifications in emergency lighting testing and certification from ppce in 2019, JEB in teaching IT from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) in 2005, and Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification (MOS) from FETAC in 2005. Debbie also has a Diploma in Business Studies, although the institution and exact date of obtaining it are not specified.
