Janne Ertresvåg has a diverse work experience in various companies. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Associate at NHST, handling advertisement and subscription sales. In 2003, they also served as a Trainee Sales and Marketing at Seafreeze Ltd.
From 2005 to 2006, Janne worked as a Key Account Manager at Sekkingstad AS, responsible for exporting fish and shellfish to key customers in Europe and Asia.
Starting in 2006, they joined O. Kavli AS as a Sales Manager, where they managed the Q sales office and implemented a deviation system to improve customer service.
In 2012, Janne joined Kvaerner as a Senior Consultant, and in 2013, they became a Senior Quality Advisor at Leirvik AS. Janne briefly worked at Kvaerner again as a Site QA & Risk Manager for the Nyhamna Expansion Project site in China.
From 2015 onward, Janne held various roles at Leirvik AS, starting as a QA & Risk Manager for the Johan Sverdrup Accommodation Module. Janne then became the Vice President HSEQ & Risk and currently serves as the Vice President HR, HSEQ & Risk.
Janne Ertresvåg completed a Master's degree in Project Management & Process Improvement from Roskilde University from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, Janne Ertresvåg obtained a degree in Export marketing within fisheries from Nord University between 2000 and 2003. Additional certifications include Continuous Improvement Manager from ECQA, obtained in December 2010, and QLA - Quality lead auditor from Norsk sertifisering AS.
