Morten Christensen Bjelland

Morten Christensen Bjelland has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 1999, they served as a Military Policeman in The Norwegian Defense, gaining knowledge in areas such as international military law and security services. Morten Christensen then worked as a Warehouse Officer at Aker Kværner in 2004 before transitioning to part-time software development at Intellexi AS. From 2005 to 2006, they held roles at Kaefer IKM, including Engineering Coordinator and Head Material Coordinator. In 2006, they joined Leirvik Module Technology as an IT Engineer and later became the MC & Commissioning Leader. Morten Christensen also worked at Apply Sørco AS as a MIPS Consultant. Bjelland joined Leirvik AS in 2008, taking on various roles such as Tender Manager and Department Lead Quality & Risk. Morten Christensen'smost recent positions include VP Quality and Risk Management, Head of Technology & Digitalization, and currently, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Leirvik AS.

Morten Christensen Bjelland's education history starts with their studies at Kvinnherad Vidergåande Skule from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained their degree of Generell Studiekompetanse, focusing on the subjects of Matte og fysikk. Morten Christensen further pursued their education at the University of Agder (UiA) from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Datadesign.

In 2012, Morten attended the University of South-Eastern Norway for a brief period, focusing on Labour Legislation - Arbeidsrett and Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Morten Christensen also spent some time studying Project Management at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences during the same year.

In 2014, Morten enrolled at Høgskolen Stord/Haugesund (HSH) and completed a certification program in kvalitetsleder in 2015. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at BI Norwegian Business School from 2019 to 2020, specializing in Commercialization and Innovation.
