Nico Oudshoorn

Nico Oudshoorn, MD, MPH, is a dedicated medical professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles. Currently serving as a Medical Doctor at Lelie zorggroep since December 2021 and at Associação Estrela da Manhã in Mozambique since September 2021, Nico has also held positions as a Waarnemend medisch adviseur, Interim Regional Coordinator for the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Medical Consultant at GZB since November 2018. Previous roles include providing medical care at De Hoop ggz and BrabantZorg, where Nico worked in a Covid-unit and treated individuals with addiction and personality disorders. Internationally, Nico contributed as a Medical Doctor at Maban Hospital in South Sudan and held several positions in Mozambique. Early career experience includes working as a tuberculosis control specialist and in general medical care with various organizations. Nico holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a medical degree from Leiden University, as well as specialized training in tuberculosis at the Netherlands School of Public and Occupational Health.
