Viola Herzig

Viola Herzig currently serves as a 5th Grade Teacher at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, beginning in January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Kindergarten Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools from August 2020 to May 2023, where instruction was provided in diverse formats to support students in a Title I school. Viola Herzig's background also includes being a Corps Member with Teach For America, a Teaching Assistant at Kenyon College, and a Senior Project Supervisor for Amigos de las Americas. Additional internships and positions have been held in educational and advocacy settings, highlighting a commitment to supporting diverse learners and community engagement. Viola Herzig holds a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.
