Rebecca Burton

Rebecca Burton, MA.Ed., serves as Deputy Superintendent and Executive Director of Student Services and Special Education at Lemon Grove School District since July 2020. With extensive experience in special education leadership, Burton held the position of Regional Director of Special Education at Aspire Public Schools from June 2017 to July 2020 and previously worked as Director of Special Education Programs, Special Education Coach, and Education Specialist Teacher at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools from October 2013 to June 2017. Other roles include Teach Plus Fellow at Teach Plus, Lead Education Specialist Teacher at PUC Schools, and Office Manager at Community Counseling Center of Azusa Pacific University. Burton holds a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in Journalism from the same institution.
