Milosz Pogoda

Milosz Pogoda has a diverse work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Milosz started their career as a Technical Consultant at Devoteam, where they focused on delivering solutions based on HP Business Technology Optimization software. Milosz then worked as a Technical Consultant at Iron Mountain Polska Sp. z o.o., followed by a position as a Technical Consultant and Solution Administrator at Bank Pekao. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring and management system migration, maintaining monitoring systems, developing new monitoring tools, and providing end-user support.

Milosz later transitioned to the role of Data Quality Specialist at Syncron, where they developed tools and solutions for application upgrades and deployment processes. Milosz worked with technologies such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Docker, Gerrit, and Jenkins. Milosz also served as a DevOps Engineer at Syncron, focusing on deploying applications in the AWS cloud and providing self-service solutions for external departments.

Milosz then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MicroStrategy, where they played a leading role in porting the infrastructure part of a self-provisioning platform from AWS to Azure. Milosz was involved in re-architecting the existing solution, designing Azure Resource Manager templates, and adjusting Python scripts to work with Azure infrastructure.

Following that, Milosz held the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at Finiata - Smart cash for smart businesses, where they were responsible for moving AWS services to code-based management using Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer, and Python. Milosz also created and managed CI/CD pipelines and ensured resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

Most recently, Milosz has worked at Westwing and Chaos Gears as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Senior Site Reliability Engineer, respectively. At Westwing, they focused on moving services to the AWS cloud, implementing Kubernetes, and managing CI/CD pipelines. At Chaos Gears, they were responsible for site reliability engineering tasks.
