Alicia Starko has a varied work experience beginning in 2009 when they were a POS Coordinator for Cost Plus World Market. Alicia then worked as an On-Premise/Off-Premise Liquor Rep for Strategic Experiential Group and a Brand Ambassador for Goose Island Beer Company in 2012. In 2013, they were a South Texas Marketing Team Lead for Celsius, Inc., where they were responsible for coordinating product with distributors and sales representatives, scheduling product demonstrations for brand ambassadors, promoting and educating consumers on product at accounts, completing daily recaps and monthly summaries using computer applications, ensuring, creating, and maintaining budget, hiring qualified team members, setting up and maintaining point of sales at demonstrations, ordering and inventory of supplies, and face to face sales. In 2016, they were a Marketing Coordinator for Talent Tree Staffing & Promotions. In 2017, they were a Social Media Manager for Living Hope Home HealthCare, a Brand Activation Manager for Anheuser-Busch, and a Marketing Coordinator for San Lorenzo Bikinis. Finally, in 2018, they were a Field Sales Representative for Golden Road Brewing and is currently an Area Sales Manager for The Lemon Perfect Company.

Alicia Starko began their educational journey at San Jacinto College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in International Business, Logistics, and Maritime between 2011 and 2015. Alicia then attended the University of St. Thomas (TX) and earned a Bachelors of International Business degree in 2021. In 2022, they enrolled in the Rice University - Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Data Analytics and Visualization Boot Camp and is expected to complete the program in 2023. Alicia also participated in a Study Abroad program at Shih Chien University, where they focused on East Asian Studies and Mandarin Language.
