Mayank Madan

Mayank Madan has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data analytics, AI, cloud strategy, sales, and business development. Mayank is currently working as the Head of Data and Analytics Practice, EMEA at Lemongrass. Previously, they founded and directed their own company, Silverlining Data Services Ltd, where they provided international expansion strategy, sales, and business development partnerships for SaaS data/AI companies. Mayank also provided value-driven sales and strategy consulting on computer vision AI, big data, IoT, and cloud technologies and solutions.

Mayank has also worked as a mentor at Innovation Forum and as the Head of International Sales and Business Development at Plainsight, where they focused on developing partnerships with global system integrators, Telcos, and technology providers to drive value from computer vision applications. Mayank has also served as a startup advisor and mentor at Oxford University Innovation.

In the past, Mayank held positions at Virtustream as a Sales Director, Big Data/SAP Data Hub, EMEA, and at Hortonworks as a Client Solutions Director and Senior Architect in professional services. Mayank also worked at Capgemini Consulting as a Senior Consultant and Technical Strategy Consultant in the field of business intelligence and big data. Mayank started their career at Tech Mahindra, where they held various roles as a business intelligence design lead, project management and technical delivery, solution designer/business analyst, and programmer analyst/component designer.

Mayank Madan has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Technology from Priyadarshini College Of Engg & Arch, Nagpur, India, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Mayank also holds a Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they completed between 2018 and 2020. Currently, Mayank is pursuing a field of study in Artificial Intelligence: Cloud and Edge Implementations at the University of Oxford since 2021. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the HDP Certified Developer (HDPCD) and Hortonworks Certified Apache Hadoop 2.0 Developer certifications from Hortonworks in 2015. Additionally, they have certifications in Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop CDH4, Hortonworks Certified Apache Hadoop Administrator 2.x, Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g Essentials, and Oracle Exadata 11g Essentials, though the specific years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
