Omar Miranda

Omar Miranda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent position was as a Marketing Associate at Lemonlight starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Starbucks as a Barista from February 2016 to June 2022, adapting to both drive-thru and walk-in settings. At Starbucks, they facilitated coffee tastings and obtained a coffee master certification. From 2013 to 2014, Omar worked as a Student Assistant at the UCSB Student Resource Building, acting as a communication liaison and managing Outlook calendars. Omar also held roles at AS Program Board, where they served as a Deputy Commissioner and Volunteer Coordinator, and at UCSB Orientation Programs & Parent Services as a Reservations Coordinator. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant at the UCSB Office of the Registrar and as a Student Leader at UCSB Orientation Programs & Parent Services, leading orientation sessions and providing guidance to new students and parents.

Omar Miranda graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara. Omar pursued a double major in Film & Media Studies and Psychology during their time at the institution.
