Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions in educational technology. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has focused on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, while also contributing as a firmware engineer. Previous positions include electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and a teaching assistant role at the University of Calgary, assisting with electronic circuits lab courses. Additionally, experience as an electronics engineer at Grindcom involved developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
