Claus Bartholin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Claus is currently serving as the Head of IT OP and IT-Security/Chief Information Security Officer at Lemvigh-Müller A/S since February 2020. In this role, they have designed and implemented the IT and Information Security Governance, provided trusted advice to the C-level and Board of Directors, initiated technology changes based on risks, and led process improvement and team development.
Prior to that, Claus worked as a Senior Manager at PwC from November 2014 to January 2020. Here, they were responsible for governance of Information Security, conducted risk analysis and business impact assessment, developed and tested Business Continuity Plans, and ensured alignment of information security policies with business processes.
From November 2010 to October 2014, Claus served as the Continual Service Improvement Manager at PFA Pension. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing Continual Service Improvement and Governance models, managing relationships with vendors, and developing information security and testing BCP/DRP.
Claus worked as an IT Relationship Manager at ATP from June 2009 to November 2010. In this role, they focused on business relationship management, reputation management, and trust-building.
Prior to that, Claus held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from January 2006 to May 2009, including Manager - IT Effectiveness/Security & Technology.
Claus also had teaching experience as a Teacher at Copenhagen Business College from 1995 to 2006.
Claus started their career at Microsoft in July 2003 as a Technical Account Manager, where they worked towards optimizing and streamlining customers' operations, implementing information security requirements, and managing projects.
Before that, Claus served as a Member of the Board of Direction at Granzow A/S from February 2001 to June 2003, where they focused on developing and modernizing IT platforms across business areas. Claus also served as the CIO and CISO at Granzow A/S from May 1998 to June 2003, where they implemented a new enterprise foundation platform and improved IT operations.
Claus Bartholin has a diverse education history. Claus obtained a Diploma in Leadership (Diplom i Ledelse) from Copenhagen Business Academy in 2010-2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Computer Studies - IT Counselling and Project Management at Niels Brock - Copenhagen Business College from 1999 to 2002. In 1994-1996, Claus obtained a Vocational Business Teacher qualification in theory and practice and IT from the Danish Institute for Educational Training of Teachers (DEL). Claus also holds a degree in Electronics Engineering with a focus on Microprocessor and Digital Electronics from Teknikum, obtained in 1989-1991, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Organization from Copenhagen Business College earned in 1987-1990. Additionally, Claus has obtained various certifications in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud architecture, data science, and more from institutions like LinkedIn, ISACA, and The Business Continuity Institute.
