Juan Camilo Jaramillo Tobar has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 when they were a volunteer at Kibbutz Program Center, where they coordinated irrigation control of apple, pear, peach, kiwi, and peach crops based on moisture measurements. In 2012, they became a Sales Representative at C.I. Cultivos Leaves and Flowers S.A., generating new customers and sales for the company, as well as creating an English-language portfolio of the company's products for new and existing customers. That same year, they were also a Logistics Supervisor at Amador Builders and Associates LLC. In 2013, they became Purchase Manager at TECNACOL S.A.S., coordinating the purchase of raw materials and other supplies, negotiating with suppliers, and conducting follow-up and audits. In 2016, they were a Business Development Officer at Agrofuturo, where they were responsible for commercial management, using the company's technological tools, and creating and designing commercial proposals for each customer. Finally, in 2017, they became Self-Employed at Joly Guacamoly, where they were a leader and founder of food production and commercialization (natural guacamole without preservatives). Juan Camilo was also the winner of the 15th version of the seed capital contest awarded by the mayor of Medellin for the high-impact entrepreneurship. Juan Camilo was also the winner of the incubation of the entrepreneurship by the Entrepreneurship Park in alliance with the mayor of Medellin and the University of Antioquia. In 2021, they became a Funding Manager at Lendflow.
Juan Camilo Jaramillo Tobar completed a Master of International Business from the University of South Australia in 2015, focusing on International Business/Trade/Commerce. Prior to that, they obtained an Ingeniero Agroindustrial from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana between 2005 and 2011, specializing in Agricultural Engineering.
