Dr Richard Gravelle

Dr. Richard Gravelle currently serves as the Economic Funding Development Manager and previously held the role of Business Development and Funding Manager at Nottingham Trent University since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Research and Business Development Manager for the EPSRC Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub at the University of Nottingham from September 2016 to June 2021, where efforts focused on advancing polymer matrix composites production and training future engineers. Dr. Gravelle has also worked as a Project Officer in Energy Innovation & Collaboration, a Business Case Author at Pera Technology Solutions, and held various academic positions at institutions such as the University of East Anglia, Birkbeck, University of London, and Loughborough University. An accomplished academic, Dr. Gravelle earned a Ph.D. in Glacier Hydrology from Loughborough University and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Glaciology and Geography from Aberystwyth University.
