Amit Balia

Amit Balia is an accomplished finance data professional with extensive experience in data analysis and financial services. Currently serving as a Finance Data expert at Square since May 2021, Amit also holds the position of Sr. Financial Data Analyst at LendingClub since August 2017. Prior roles include Experienced Associate in Advisory at PwC, where Amit contributed to the development of an internal proprietary platform for sanctions screening and created client-ready frameworks and dashboards using SQL and Tableau. Earlier experience includes a data analytics internship at PwC and a role in business development at Verdantis Inc, focusing on data quality processes and implementation. Amit began career development as a Software Developer Trainee at CMC Technologies India Pvt Ltd. Amit holds a Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Shah and Anchor Engineering College, Mumbai University.
