John Steward

John Steward has a strong background in finance and real estate, with over two decades of experience. Currently serving as Vice President of Institutional at LendingClub since May 2010, Steward has held several roles within the company, focusing on institutional relationships and investor services. Prior to LendingClub, Steward was Assistant Vice President at Builders Bank, where the first Northern California office was established. Experience also includes roles as a broker at Action Investment Real Estate and Marcus & Millichap, alongside operations management at Total Axcess, Inc. Steward began a career in the motion picture industry, working as an independent contractor coordinating art departments. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus on Economics from San Francisco State University.
