Richard Kao

Richard Kao is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in credit risk management and analytics. Currently serving as Vice President at LendingClub since April 2023, Richard previously held the position of Vice President, Credit Risk Analytics at Wells Fargo from May 2016 to March 2023, where significant contributions included leading risk acquisition teams and developing credit strategies for new product offerings. Prior experience at HSBC involved managing comprehensive credit risk functions for cards and lines of credit, culminating in leadership roles that enhanced regulatory compliance and model performance.
