Vineet Gupta

Vineet Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vineet started their career as a Software Engineer at IMR Global, where they worked from 1998 to 2000. Vineet then moved on to IBM, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2000 to 2001.

After their time at IBM, Vineet joined Capital One in 2003 and held multiple roles, including Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and Business Manager. In these positions, they contributed to the development of various banking products and strategies, such as mobile payments and collections.

In 2016, Vineet joined T-Mobile as the Head of Product & Operations for Financial Services. Vineet played a crucial role in launching T-Mobile MONEY, a digital bank, and was responsible for its strategy, product design, and partnership collaboration.

In 2020, Vineet joined American Express as the General Manager and Head of Business Banking for Global Commercial Services. Vineet led the launch and growth of a startup banking business focused on small and mid-size businesses, working on building a customer-first banking platform.

Currently, Vineet is employed at LendingClub as the SVP and Head of Digital Transformation. Vineet oversees the transformation of LendingClub into a multi-product digital bank and is responsible for delivering a SuperApp foundation to engage millions of members and reduce customer acquisition costs.

Throughout their career, Vineet has demonstrated expertise in driving digital transformation, product innovation, and strategic growth within the banking industry.

Vineet Gupta holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Vineet also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Vineet has obtained several certifications. Vineet completed a course in Cryptocurrency from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2022. Vineet also completed a course in Leading Strategic Growth from Columbia Business School Executive Education in June 2019. Vineet has further enhanced their skills by completing courses such as Tackling the Challenges of Big Data from MIT Professional Education in May 2016 and How to Create Products Customers Love from Silicon Valley Product Group in August 2015. Vineet also holds a certification in Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, obtained in April 2015. Furthermore, Vineet expanded their knowledge on the public policy process by completing a course titled Inside Washington: The Public Policy Process for MBA Students from The Washington Campus in May 2003.
