Jacob Vann

Jacob Vann has a strong background in business analytics and reporting. Jacob started their career at New Mexico State University as a Systems Software Engineer, where they developed web applications and maintained servers. Jacob then joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, serving as a Business Intelligence Specialist and later as a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist. In these roles, they worked on standard reports and dashboards using tools such as Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Tableau. Jacob also founded and organized the Illinois Higher Ed Tableau User Group. Currently, Jacob is working at LendingTree, where they have held several positions, including Manager, Senior Manager, and Director of Reporting and Analytics. In these roles, they have managed teams, developed Tableau dashboards, and fostered a data-driven culture within the organization.

Jacob Vann obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Springfield in the years 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University from 1998 to 2002.
