Elizabeth Davies DipTrans MCIL has a long history of work experience in translation, proofreading, and teaching. Elizabeth began their career in 2000 as a freelance translator and proofreader of German-English and English-German (part-time). In 2004, they began working as an English teacher for Impuls Sprachentraining. Elizabeth then worked as an English teacher for Escola d’Angles in 2007 and Carrot Korea in 2009. In 2009, they also began working as an English and German teacher for Language Direct. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as an English and German teacher for E-Communication Japan. In 2017, they began working as an English and German teacher for E-Communication. In 2018, they began working as a translator and proofreader for Avilinga, a translator for Lengoo, and a German-English translator. Currently, they are working as a Translation Project Manager and Translator for Lengoo.

Elizabeth Davies DipTrans MCIL has a diverse educational background. Elizabeth attended the Europa Institut from 2001 to 2004, where they studied Languages and Business. In 2009, they obtained their TEFL degree from i-to-i and specialized in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Elizabeth also attended the Antoniuskolleg from 1991 to 1999. In 2019, they obtained their CIOL Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
