Christopher Bates

Christopher Bates is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in the homebuilding industry, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Portfolio at Lennar since November 2009. In this role, Christopher has developed and executed IT strategies to support the construction of over 40,000 homes through the Multifamily startup. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Technology at D.R. Horton, overseeing IT for multiple regions and implementing systems that enhanced operational efficiency and communication. Christopher's career began at Cambridge Homes, where significant advancements in CRM and business operations were achieved. A former Captain in the US Army, Christopher managed automation projects, earning several military decorations. Educational credentials include a B.S. in Management & Computer Science from Jacksonville State University and a certificate in E-Business/E-Commerce from the University of Illinois Chicago.
