Praveen Kumar

Praveen Kumar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software, data, AI, and cloud platforms. Currently serving as VP, Head of Engineering at Lennar, Praveen oversees a team of 120, leading technical strategy and architecture. Previously, Praveen held the position of SVP, Global Head of Engineering at ZIMPERIUM, where management of real-time telemetry data and cybersecurity insights was key. As Managing Director of Data Engineering at Charles Schwab, Praveen received the “CEO Award” for delivering AI solutions and establishing analytical data architecture. Additional roles include Director of Data and AI Engineering at Capital One, and Divisional Head of Engineering at American Airlines, where substantial revenue-generating projects were initiated. Praveen holds an MS in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
