John Whinery

VP Product Management - Residential Heating & Cooling at Lennox International

John Whinery has extensive work experience in the HVAC industry. John started their career at Follett Corporation in 1991 as a Development Engineer, before becoming a Project Engineer and managing the introduction of new products and product improvements. John then moved to Booth/Crystal Tips in 1995, where they continued to manage the introduction of new products and provided manufacturing production support. In 1996, they joined Lennox Industries, where they held various roles including R&D Engineer, Team Leader, Product Marketing Team Leader, and Director of Commercial Marketing. John also joined Lennox International in 2006, serving as a Commercial District Manager and then as the Director of Business Development & Tech Support for North American Commercial HVAC. John later worked at Service Experts as the VP & GM of the East Region before returning to Lennox International as the VP of Product Management for the Residential Heating & Cooling division.

John Whinery earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. John then pursued further education and completed their MBA in Management of Technology at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1995 to 1998.
