E. Randolph Smith

E. Randolph Smith is currently a Trustee at Lenoir Community College. Prior to this, they were a Freelance UX Consultant and Content Strategist with Content Garden, Inc from January 2015 to September 2015. Their work there varied from creating social media and blog posts geared toward getting SEO green lights to content strategy for websites. Before Content Garden, they were a Communication Design Quarterly Fellow with Communication Design Quarterly from December 2014 to August 2015. While there, they assisted the Editor-in-Chief in copyediting each issue of the journal before it was published, the Developmental Editor in soliciting editors of special issues from the broader field, and the Book Review Editor in soliciting reviewers from the broader field as well as books for review from publishers. They also prepared a bibliographic essay of all publications in the area of communication design over the year of their term of service for publication in the journal. From August 2013 to May 2015, E. Randolph Smith was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at East Carolina University.

E. Randolph Smith has an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a Master of Arts in English; Technical and Professional Communication from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from East Carolina University. E. also has an Associate in Arts from Lenoir Community College.
