Claire Paris M.D. Fhm

Claire Paris MD MBA FHM currently serves as the Medical Director of the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility at UNC Lenoir Health Care, where leadership resulted in growth in admissions and patient acuity. Claire also holds the position of Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, driving physician leadership and strategic quality initiatives at the facility, alongside board membership at UNC Center for the Business of Health. Previous experience includes leadership roles at IPC Healthcare, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, and Mountain Empire Medical and Surgical Associates, where Claire established hospitalist programs and improved quality of care. Claire co-founded Flat Top Brewing Company and has extensive academic qualifications, including an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and fellowships in hospital medicine. Education includes degrees from St. George's University and East Tennessee State University, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine degree.
