Dan Farber

Dan Farber has over 30 years of experience in the field of engineering. Dan began their career in 1986 as a Senior Software Engineer and Machine Vision Engineer at Recognition Technology Inc. Dan then worked at AccuSoft Corporation as a Software Manager and Principle Software Engineer from 1994 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001, they were an Engineering Manager and Principal Project Engineer at Trex Medical / XRE. At this position, they were responsible for project management, DICOM software engineering, DICOM interoperability testing, product development and deployment, and was active on the NEMA DICOM Standards Committee. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Hologic as a Project Manager and Principal Project Engineer. From 2010 to 2018, they were a Product Manager, Principal Software Engineer, and DICOM Engineer at Photo Diagnostic Systems. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Asto CT as a Project Manager and Systems Engineer, and from 2018 to present, they have been a DICOM Engineering Consultant for Self-Employed. Most recently, they have been a Project Manager at Leo Cancer Care since 2019.

Dan Farber received their MS in Computer Science - Machine Vision / Digital Image Processing from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1986 and their BA in Mathematics & Computer Science from State University of New York College at Potsdam in 1983.
