Jesper Brandgaard

Jesper Brandgaard currently serves as Chairman of LEO Pharma since August 2021 and has held various prominent roles including Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Nomination and Audit Committees at Chr. Hansen Holding A/S since 2017. Brandgaard is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at William Demant Invest A/S and a member of the Board at the William Demant Foundation, both since April 2019, as well as a member of the Advisory Board at VækstPartner Kapital. Previously, Brandgaard was Chairman of the Council at the Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation until November 2021 and held multiple executive positions at Novo Nordisk from 1999 to April 2019, including Executive Vice President of Biopharm and Legal Affairs. Additionally, Brandgaard has significant board experience from SimCorp and NNIT, contributing as Chairman of both organizations. The educational background includes an MBA, a Master of Science in Economics and Auditing, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration, all from Copenhagen Business School.
