William Doublet has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Localization QA Test Analyst for Huawei and then Microsoft, where they were responsible for checking functional and linguistic issues for French-speaking countries. In 2012, they became a Localization QA Test Analyst for Nokia Technologies. William then joined Microsoft again in 2013 as a Labeller for the Bing search engine website and later as a Text-to-Speech Analyst, transcribing users' utterances and requests. William also worked as a Text-to-Speech Analyst at Skype during the same year. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Freelance Localization QA Test Analyst for Thebigword. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Computational Linguist at Sony. In 2015, they briefly held the position of Project Manager at 5/5. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Quality Assurance Test Analyst, designing test cases and running functional testing for Orange Business Services. Finally, since 2019, they have been working at Leocare Assurance as a QA Test Lead, responsible for tests and overall quality, including applications, websites, dashboards, partners, and chatbots.
William Doublet attended Université Rennes 2 from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a DEUG degree in Applied Foreign Languages, with a focus on Economics and Social subjects. In addition to their degree, William also obtained the ISTQB Foundation certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board in October 2018.
