Shijo Joseph

National Coordinator at Leonard Cheshire

Shijo Joseph is an accomplished professional with significant experience in livelihood programs, particularly focused on supporting individuals with disabilities and vulnerable youth. Currently serving as Regional Director at EnEnable India since January 2020, Shijo has also held positions as Senior Manager and Manager for the Rural Livelihood program. In addition, Shijo coordinates livelihood initiatives for the South Zone at ChildFund International and is the National Coordinator for Leonard Cheshire Disability, overseeing livelihood programs for people with disabilities. Prior to these roles, Shijo was the Country Coordinator of Egypt for CAP Foundation, where responsibilities included developing project strategies and providing technical support for livelihood projects. Shijo holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from Yeshwant Rao Chavan School of Social Work, completed in 2009.
