Iain Nairn MBE

Iain Nairn MBE has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 2021, they joined Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group as the North East Office Lead, where they provide strategic advice in restructuring, law, and finance.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, Iain worked at Azets, a professional services provider. Iain started as a Senior Manager and later became a Partner. At Azets, they contributed to financial and operational problem-solving for SME owners.

In 2015, Iain served as the Team Captain for the England Physically Disabled Cricket team, leading them to victory in a multinational cricket tournament for people with disabilities. Iain was also the Team Captain for the World Series final in 2019.

From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Assure Business Rescue & Recovery as a Director and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. This firm specialized in assisting companies and individuals in difficult financial positions.

In addition, Iain has held positions at Northstar Ventures UK as an Investment Manager, Bibby Financial Services as a Business Development Manager, Halo Thermal Imaging as a Finance Director, Consensus Capital Private Equity as a Director and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Pitman Cohen Recoveries LLP as a Director in Corporate Recovery & Insolvency, and Leonard Curtis as a Corporate Recovery Senior Manager.

Throughout their career, Iain has accumulated a wide range of expertise and experience in providing strategic advice, managing financial issues, and leading teams.

Iain Nairn MBE attended the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle upon Tyne from 1991 to 1998. In 1999, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management. In 2009, they attended BPP Law School for a year, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner from the ICAEW.
