Iain Nairn MBE has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 2021, they joined Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group as the North East Office Lead, where they provide strategic advice in restructuring, law, and finance.

Iain Nairn MBE attended the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle upon Tyne from 1991 to 1998. In 1999, they enrolled at Heriot-Watt University and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management. In 2009, they attended BPP Law School for a year, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner from the ICAEW.
