Dave Colvin

Dave Colvin serves as the Groundwater Department Manager at LRE Water, bringing over 25 years of expertise in groundwater hydrology, water resources, and environmental sciences. Since May 2013, Dave has been responsible for supervising diverse teams of subject matter experts and providing technical leadership to address contemporary water resource challenges. Previous roles include serving as Principal Hydrogeologist and Senior Project Manager, where project management and hydrogeologic investigations involved aquifer characterization, groundwater modeling, and water rights support. Dave's extensive experience spans various organizations, including Leonard Rice Engineers, Inc., Geomega, Inc., Tetra Tech, MFG, Inc., and Weston Solutions. Holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Syracuse University, Dave Colvin continues to influence the field of groundwater resource management.
