Alexander Ross

Alexander Ross is a Senior Systems Engineer at Leonardo, specializing in the development and optimization of advanced laser technologies for defense applications. In previous roles, Alexander served as an Optical Engineer at Renishaw, where they led the optical design of high-power fiber lasers and collaborated with multi-disciplinary R&D teams. Alexander's academic pursuits included positions as a Research Associate and Research Assistant at Heriot-Watt University, where they further honed their engineering expertise. Prior to their academic career, they contributed as a Project Mentor in orbital mechanics for the Foundation for International Space Education at the University of Houston Clear Lake, NASA.
