Federico Bianchi

Federico Bianchi is currently a Flight Safety Officer and Program Manager at Leonardo, where they contribute to the safety and management of flight programs. Previously, Federico worked as a Thermal Engineer at Siirtec Nigi, ensuring the quality of heat transfer equipment and collaborating with various departments. They also completed a Master Thesis Internship at Brembo SGL Carbon Ceramic Brakes, where they developed a CFD model for numerical simulations. Federico is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and is involved in UAV Design Laboratory at Politecnico di Milano, as well as the ATHENS programme at KU Leuven focused on sport, building, and city aerodynamics. Federico holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, completed in 2021.
