James Gilmour

James Gilmour is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in flight control systems. Since June 2002, James has held various key positions at Leonardo, including Technical Team Leader and Lead Systems Engineer, focusing on Fly-By-Wire (FBW) technologies. Prior to this role, James served as an ILDP Graduate Engineer at GKN from 2000 to 2002. Academically, James holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Aston University, with studies completed between 1992 and 2000.
