Joe Thompson

Joe Thompson is an experienced professional with a strong background in material management and program execution, currently serving as the Material Services Program Manager at Leonardo since August 2013. In this role, Joe has successfully managed the AW101 contract implementation team, ensuring the delivery of customer requirements globally within budget and schedule constraints. Previously, Joe held positions such as Material Management Team Manager, overseeing international teams across the UK, Italy, Poland, and the US, and acted as the Material Supply Program Manager and Material Supply Officer, contributing to global supply chain efforts. Prior experience includes working as a Quarantine Administrator at Wincanton Logistics, focusing on process improvements and repair order management. Joe holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Renewable Energy and the Built Environment from the University of East London and an FdSC in Renewable Energy and Electrical Engineering from the University of Plymouth.
