Carlos Marques

Carlos Marques is a highly experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in development support and quality assurance within the automotive industry. Currently working at LEONI since March 2021, Carlos focuses on quality development, customer requirements evaluation during RFQs, APQP follow-up until PPAP, customer claims management, and PCN risk assessment. Previously, Carlos held a similar position at LEONI from 2019 to 2021, emphasizing product safety, conformity, and APQP for implementation and ramp-up. With earlier experience as an Electronic Testing Engineer at Preh Portugal, Carlos specialized in defect analysis and the implementation of OEM functional test systems for major automotive brands. Carlos's career began as an Electronic Engineer at SERNIS, where development of hardware and software for road safety lighting applications was a primary responsibility. Carlos holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from Universidade do Minho.
