Jorge Gastelum

Jorge Gastelum, PMP, currently serves as Head of Value Chain Management and Head of Project Purchasing for North America at LEONI since June 2021. Previously, Jorge held the position of Purchasing Director for North and Central America at Coats from August 2018 to March 2021, managing a team that oversaw purchasing across six countries. Prior to that, Jorge worked at Saint-Gobain Sekurit as Strategic Purchasing Divisional Manager, successfully managing a budget of 80M € and delivering savings targets with a focus on high-tech OEMs. Jorge's earlier experience includes various purchasing roles at Production Services Management Inc. and a team leadership position at IBM, where responsibility encompassed procurement processes and supplier selection across multiple projects. Jorge earned a degree in Ingeniería Industrial y de Sistemas from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2010.
