Besart Colaku

Besart Colaku, CPA, currently serves as the Head of Non-Financial Risks and Audit Oversight and Head of Operational Risk at Leonteq since March 2014, holding roles such as Secretary of the Executive Committee and Secretary of the Audit Committee. Responsibilities include change management, strategic business analysis, external financial reporting, audit management, risk management, and project management. Prior to this, Besart Colaku worked at EY from September 2008 to February 2014 as a Manager in Financial Services, specializing in statutory audits, regulatory audits, and special audits, while also coordinating global audit projects. Besart Colaku is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant, having obtained the certification from Schweizer Akademie für Wirtschaftsprüfung, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich.
