Pauline Faure has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Pauline is currently working as a Systems Engineer at LeoStella since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Professor at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from September 2018 to September 2022. Pauline also worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow at Kyushu Institute of Technology - LaSEINE from April 2017 to August 2018, and as a Research fellow at the same institute from July 2013 to March 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Teaching Associate at International Space University in June 2012 and as an Intern at Alstom GmBH in July 2007.
Pauline Faure obtained a Bachelor's degree in engineering sciences from Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux in 2008. Pauline then pursued a Master's degree in engineering sciences from the same institution, which they completed in 2011. During their Master's program, they specialized in materials science.
In 2009, Pauline Faure attended Lulea University of Technology in Sweden, where they focused on nano-technology and composite materials for aerospace. Pauline also briefly studied at Saarland University in Germany during the same year.
Pauline Faure continued their education at Kyushu Institute of Technology in Japan, where they earned a Master's degree in mechanical and control engineering in 2011. Their research during this program involved space debris and high velocity impact engineering. Later on, they pursued a Doctor of Engineering in Mechanical and Control Engineering from the same institute, completing it in 2017.
In addition to their academic achievements, Pauline Faure obtained an Amateur radio license general class from the Federal Communications Commission in December 2014.
