Gianluca Mazzini

Gianluca Mazzini's work experience includes positions at various companies and organizations. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Researcher for the National Research Council. In 2002, they co-founded and became the Technical Director of Lifeinaclick. From 2004 to 2019, Mazzini held several roles at Regione Emilia-Romagna, including coordinating LepidaTV and serving on the Scientific Board for Telematics and Telecommunications. Gianluca joined Lepida S.p.A. in 2007 and held roles such as CEO - General Director, Research & Development Director, and Member of the Board of Directors. Mazzini also served as a Member of the Scientific Board and Board of Directors for Fondazione Guglielmo Marconi. Additionally, they were a Board Member for Assinter - Associazione delle Società per l'Innovazione Tecnologica nelle Regioni and a member of the Scientific Board for GARR. In 2011, Mazzini became a CIMSI Board Member for Aster. Gianluca served as CEO - General Director for Cup2000 scpa from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Professor of Telecommunications at the University of Ferrara.

Gianluca Mazzini's education history began in 1982 when they attended Istituto Aldini Valeriani. Gianluca completed their Perito degree in Informatics in 1987. Following that, they enrolled at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 1987 and obtained a Laurea degree in Engineering in 1992. Continuing their academic pursuit, Gianluca pursued a Ph'D in Telecommunications at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 1992 to 1995.
