Kathleen Kennedy is an experienced educator currently serving as an Assistant Primary Teacher at LePort Schools since August 2015. Prior to this role, Kathleen worked at Floyd|Snider from July 2010 to October 2013, where responsibilities included technical editing and project assistance for environmental reports and marketing proposals. Earlier career highlights include teaching English at MLS My Language School, coordinating marketing efforts at Wooden Radiator Cabinet Company, and providing support as a project assistant. Kathleen holds a Master of Education in Montessori Studies from Loyola University Maryland, an AMI Primary Teacher Certificate from the Montessori Institute of San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Environmental Magazine Writing from the University of Oregon.

LePort Montessori was founded in 2000 by Dr. LePort, a parent, who fell in love with the Montessori Method for his own children. From these humble beginnings, LePort has embraced a mission of growth. We have spent two decades honing and refining our program, curriculum, environments and systems.
