Timothy Hwu has over 20 years of professional experience in the supply chain and IT industry. Timothy began their career in 1999 as an IT Specialist at IBM, where they designed, developed, and executed strategic supply chain solutions, and was awarded for their innovative design in data management. In 2003, they joined Ford Motor Company as an IT Program Lead, where they developed tools to improve the performance of inbound freight cubing, resulting in over $49M in annual transportation reduction. In 2007, they moved to Google as a Sr. Operations Specialist, where they drove global logistics teams to achieve 20% cost reduction in material handling and improved production yield and eliminating rework by 80%. In 2010, they joined Liquidity Services as the Vice President of Client Services, where they led all retail supply chain activities and managed the company P&L, leading the retail division to its first profitable year and 15% annual revenue growth. In 2015, they became a Supply Chain Management Consultant at TachSolutions LLC, where they delivered supply chain strategy and research for healthcare, e-commerce retail, travel, and manufacturing clients. In 2017, they co-founded Standvast Healthcare Fullfillment, where they led client engagements and grew Standvast’s patent-pending supply chain solutions adoption within the healthcare industry, reducing provider supply chain cost by 3-5%, reducing waste, and improving fill rate to 99. In 2021, they became the COO of LePrix.

Timothy Hwu obtained a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from Emory University between 1995 and 1999. Timothy then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Engineering in Supply Chain Management and Logistics between 2002 and 2003. In 2018, they completed a Master of Science in Finance, General from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. In addition, Timothy Hwu has obtained certifications in R Programming and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera in 2020.
