Taylor Lepore has focused her early career on patent prosecution and trademark litigation. Currently, she is helping clients with patent applications related to the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in mapping tools, as well as conducting research and discovery for a trademark case involving home goods.
Taylor attended Staten Island Technical High School, one of the nation’s leading STEM schools. SITHS nurtured her interest in electrical engineering, which she pursed in college, earning her B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Her senior project was a voice-activated device designed to teach a visually impaired individual Braille.
With her STEM background and interest in law, Taylor pursued an intellectual property law focus at New York Law School, where she also was involved in the Sports Law Society. As a part of the Sports Law Society, she helped to organize various club events including NYLS’s Sports Law Symposium. Taylor also participated in New York Law School’s year-long Patent Law Clinic, where she provided pro bono legal assistance to inventors and entrepreneurs pursuing patent protection or confronting various patent issues.
After years of competitive soccer, Taylor remains interested in sports, especially trademark issues and high-tech issues confronting sports and fashion designers.
