Amy McGuire

Amy McGuire has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Amy worked at Lerner Publishing Group as an IT Director, where they managed all functions of the Digital Department, led offshore development teams, and maintained e-readers and apps. Prior to that, they owned and was the CEO of McGuire Book Services, Inc., where they were responsible for all business functions and held contract positions in marketing operations and curriculum design. Amy also worked as a Principal Grant Writer at Christian Recovery Counseling and as a Sr. Content Project Manager at Cengage Learning. Amy has a strong background in project management, content development, and digital product management.

Amy McGuire obtained a Bachelor's Degree in a double major of English (emphasis on Professional Writing) and Psychology from Bethel University between 1996 and 2000, with a GPA of 3.5. In 2014, they completed a Professional Graphic Designer Certification from Minneapolis College. In the same year, they also obtained a Professional Project Manager Certification (CPPM) from the University of St. Thomas. Finally, in 2015, Amy received a Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification from the Institute of Project Management.
