Teresa Altares Berezo

Teresa Altares Berezo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Teresa started their career in 1996 as an International Staff at CMC (Cemex group) and later became a Human Resources Assistant. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Activa Consulting and MRI Worldwide. Teresa then joined RB Selection as a Senior Consultant from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they started working at Gas Natural Fenosa in Talent Management. At Naturgy, they held various roles including Head of Executive Talent Management and Head of Talent and L&D at UFD. Currently, they are working as the Head of Talent Development at Leroy Merlin. Throughout their career, Teresa has gained expertise in talent management, coaching, mentoring, career development, executive search, and various HR functions such as HR planning, talent acquisition, evaluation, development, employee engagement, and learning.

Teresa Altares Berezo's education history includes a range of qualifications and certifications. Teresa attended IMD in 2017 to study Learning Leadership. In 2020, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org, focusing on Agile Methodology. From 1989 to 1994, they pursued a degree in Economics with a field of study in Public Affairs at Universidad CEU San Pablo. In 2013, they completed a coaching and leading course at Humaniza, specializing in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. In 2012, they received training in the evaluation of competences from Lominger International through the Leadership Architect 101 program. Further, they gained coaching skills from the Escuela Europea de Coaching in 2009 and attended the SHL Training Academy in the UK in 2007 to master competences evaluation in the design and implementation of assessment and development centers. In 2006, they studied Job Evaluation at HAY Group. Teresa also holds a degree as an International Trade Specialist from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, which they completed in 1996 as a scholarship recipient. Additionally, they acquired Executive Coach and Team Coach certifications from the Escuela Europea de Coaching in 2008 and 2011, respectively. Teresa is currently pursuing a Team Coach certification from CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS DEL COACHING, certified by ICF, with expected completion in 2023. Aside from their formal education, they have obtained certifications as a Professional Scrum Master, Executive Coach, and Team Coach from Scrum.org and ICF España.
