Habtamu Wakoya

Habtamu Wakoya is a Financial Inclusion Associate at Lersha, focusing on promoting access to finance and microinsurance for smallholder farmers. Prior to this role, Habtamu worked as a Crop Insurance Officer and Senior Officer at Oromia Insurance S.C, providing risk management solutions for farmers. With a background in agronomy and agricultural extension, Habtamu has also served as a Team Leader at iDE, working on high-value crop production and women's income generation projects. Habtamu's educational background includes a Master's degree in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension from Haramaya University.
