Les Grands Ballets Canadiens
Emilie Barrette is an accomplished choreographer and dance educator with extensive experience in various dance settings. Currently serving as the Chorégraphe Comédie Musicale at École St-Luc since January 2023, Emilie is involved in productions such as "La Belle et la Bête" (2023) and "The Young Frankenstein" (2024). Since November 2013, Emilie has held the position of Intervenante en danse with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, contributing to several projects for the Centre Nationale de Danse-Thérapie. Emilie's teaching roles include ballet instruction at École supérieure de ballet du Québec, École pré-scolaire primaire Marie-Clarac, and Cégep Édouard Montpetit. Additionally, involvement with Orchestre symphonique de Montréal includes participation in the OSMose project, while education credentials include a DESS in Intervention TSA from UQAM and a Master’s in Dance from UQAM, reflecting a strong foundation in both dance practice and pedagogy.
