Catherine Herel Bourdon

Catherine Herel Bourdon serves as the Présidente-directrice générale at Les Petits Frères since August 2023. Prior to this role, Catherine was a Conseillère principale at Desjardins from February 2021 to August 2023, focusing on support for administrators in the Montreal region. Catherine has significant experience in educational governance as the Présidente et porte-parole of the Commission scolaire de Montréal from July 2013 to July 2020, overseeing contracts and strategic directions while managing media relations. Earlier roles include content research and writing positions at KOTV, Inc., Blimp Télé Inc., and Télé-Québec, alongside a notable tenure with Groupe TVA. Catherine began their career with the Cirque du Soleil as an official tour companion and has a strong educational background, holding an MBA from École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), a Bachelor's in Political Science from UQAM, and a degree in Media Arts and Journalism from Cégep de Jonquière.
