Jerome Jouxtel

Jerome JOUXTEL is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety and emergency response. Currently serving as Délégué départemental adjoint de la SNSM at Les Sauveteurs en Mer since March 2023, Jerome JOUXTEL also holds the position of Ingénieur sécurité at EDF GUADELOUPE since June 2020. With a military background as an Officier de réserve de la Marine Nationale from 2001, currently at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Jerome JOUXTEL has served at the Centre Operationnel de Surveillance et de Sauvetage from May 2021 to May 2023. Prior to this, Jerome JOUXTEL worked at EDF from October 2007 to June 2020 in various roles, including Auditeur interne QHSE and Responsable prevention des risques. Additionally, a dedicated volunteer since 1993, Jerome JOUXTEL served as an Officier de sapeur pompier at the Centre de secours des Abymes until 2018. Jerome JOUXTEL holds a degree in Navigation from ECOLE DES OFFICIERS DE LA MARINE MARCHANDE, obtained between 1991 and 1993.
