Gregory Watine has an extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Gregory has served as the Chief Executive Officer at Les Vergers Boiron since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director - Consumer Product Division at Groupe Altitude - Groupe Coopératif Polyvalent from June 2018 to November 2019.
Before joining Groupe Altitude, they held significant positions at Mars. Gregory was the CEO of Royal Canin Canada from August 2010 to an unspecified end date. During their tenure, they successfully integrated the Medi-Cal™ acquired business, implemented the Medi-cal™ Brand migration to Royal Canin, and developed a 4-year growth strategy. Gregory also set up the first direct distribution center in North America. As a result, the veterinary business under their leadership was identified as the Center of Excellence for Mars Group globally, serving as a reference for the entire group.
Prior to their role in Canada, they served as the Managing Director - Royal Canin South Africa from November 2005 to August 2010. Before that, they worked at Royal Canin China, a division of Mars Inc., where they held the positions of General Manager from April 2002 to November 2005 and Business Area Manager for Australia, New Zealand & Pacific from April 2000 to April 2002.
Gregory Watine attended emlyon business school from 1996 to 2000, earning an MSc in Management with a focus on marketing. In 1998, they participated in an exchange program at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where they studied business administration and management. Prior to that, they attended Prepa Saint Jean Douai from 1994 to 1996, but no degree or field of study information was provided for that institution.
